Clare Goodwin

Associate Attorney

Clare Goodwin is an Associate at Epstein Law. She joined the firm in 2019 as a Law Clerk while attending Charleston School of Law, and realized her role at the firm complemented both her corporate background and her affinity for rule-following.  In addition to focusing on business and corporate law, Clare is enthusiastic about expanding the firm’s employment law offerings. She enjoys helping businesses in the low country with their legal challenges, both big and small, and doing pro bono work with Charleston Pro Bono Legal Services.

Clare’s reward for enduring 18 winters growing up in the northeast was four years at College of Charleston, where she majored in business administration with a concentration in marketing, minored in studio art for fear of not being an overachiever, and graduated with honors in 2009. She moved to New York City upon graduating and worked for ADP in both sales and marketing positions for over eight years. Clare returned to the Holy City for all the right reasons (delicious seafood, beach walks with Poppy the Pampered Pooch… and law school) and graduated magna cum laude from Charleston School of Law in 2020, passing the South Carolina Bar in the same year.

In her spare time, Clare enjoys running, playing tennis, listening to podcasts, reading on the beach, visiting local breweries, and spending time with family and friends.

Clare is a member of the South Carolina Bar.
